The grand tour

The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the office of the Minister Delegate for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities mandated the Open Diplomacy Institute to organize The Grand Tour #OurGenerationEgality: a series of fourteen consultative conferences in cities in mainland and overseas France from 8 April to 17 May 2021

The Grand Tour allows the general public to participate in the run-up to the Generation Equality Forum by sharing their recommendations for French feminist foreign policy and the progress of gender equality worldwide. Each conference is divided into three parts, starting with contributions by local political leaders (MPs and regional presidents) and the host institution, followed by a public discussion with a minister, and ending with a diplomatic dialogue between the Ambassador and Secretary-General of the Generation Equality Forum, Delphine O, and a foreign Ambassador.

The conclusions of this work with the general public will be presented at the final conference at the National Assembly on 18 June 2021.
